Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic artist, performer and composer. He blends soul gospel jazz with R&B to create a unique mixture. The singer's career has taken her all over the world, from Broadway to European concerts and festivals to even the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine is a name that she has given her was Denise White. She is now a resident of Atlanta the place she was raised is Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical journey began in the church, where she sang as well as performed piano. She was a student at Spellman College and began to study the R&B style that is popular in Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The first single to feature her vocals was Stalk You A house 12 released only in Japan; it has been remixed since by a variety of producers and has become an essential part in her live show. The voice of hers was featured in the music video for The Fighting Temptations. She was named the main keyboardist of Tyler Perry's play Meet the Browns in 2005. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her singing she asked Sunshine to be part of the Dreamgirls show during the Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained national recognition for 4 performances a day during the Democratic National Convention in 2008. She was invited to perform at the inauguration of President Obama in 2009.
