Charissa is a sportscaster from America. She was born on the 5th of May 1982. ESPN analyst that was appointed to co-host SportsNation for the year 2012 She co-hosted ABC show Splash together with Joey Lawrence. Thompson was born in Seattle Washington. The youngest of three children she knew she wanted to be a journalist from the age of three. Thompson attended Inglemoor High School at Kenmore Washington. Thompson went to California for a community college in order to get California residency. Thompson transferred to University of California Santa Barbara later, and earned an associate's degree. She earned her degree with a degree in Law and Society with a Bachelor of Arts in the year 2004. Thompson clarified that while Sports Illustrated stated she attended UC Santa Barbara before transferring from UC Santa Barbara to a California Community College, she was not studying in Washington State. Thompson was contacted through Sports Illustrated via email before she started her career as a sportscaster. They provided her with the opportunity to be painted using body paint in a Swimsuit issue.
